Ben Sherman & Pop-Up Street Art
Bucharest’s Old City has become the new home of street art, as the first urban lifestyle & art Pop-Up Center made up entirely of shipping containers opened its gates to the public.
The maze-like box arrangement allows flexibility of interior space, ready to be rented out to shops or cafes. Urban artwork by locally renowned artists is displayed on the containers’ walls – an open-air gallery to be visited at any time.
The location’s first tenant is British lifestyle brand Ben Sherman, bringing along a very cool interior design concept devised by Brinkworth. Subway tiling, wood, industrial lighting and clean graphics convey sophistication and the brand’s strong background. In fact, the brand celebrates 50 years of existence and marked the Bucharest store opening with an open-air cocktail and concert by band Moonlight Breakfast.
